Prayaraj magh mela take place every year in the month of January or february accrding to the Hindu calander in the month of Magh an auspicious month for Hindus on the shore of triveni sangam at Prayagraj. Prayaraj foremly known as Allahabad situated on the bank of three holy rivers Ganga , Yamuna and Sraswati which is also known as Kumbh city and recently there was ardh Kumbh mela in year 2019.
Magh mela is staring from the Janjuary which is the first snan of Magh mela is on the day of Paush purnima. Magh mela at Prayaraj take place every year and devotees around the world come and visit the mela and stay for couple o days and enhance their spritual power. Akhada society also have their camp and stay for the one month till the shivrtri .

Description about Magh mela :
Magh mela is one of the big fair that take place every year in the month of January from the Paush Purnim as per the Hindu calendar where Kalpvasi start stay in tent on the sand surface of Triveni Sangam for a month and take a holy dip and perform the special prayer in the evening at the bank of river Ganga .
Magh mela is a smaller version of mini kumbh where tents are allotted to the akhara society and other religious group ,however its much more smaller than what we had seen during Kumbh mela in 2019
