The birth and birth place of saint Kabir is a mystery !!
There are so many moth spken stories about the birth of Saint Kabir Das .according to few people by the blessing of Jagadguru Ramananad swami he was born in widow Brahmin family .That widow threw away the infant near lake of Laharatara ,Varanasi .A msulim man named Niru took him to his home and took great care of him , later on this boy was Kabir ,however folloers of saint Kabir bel;eive that he was born on the lotues flower in the lake of Lahartara in Varanasi.
According to the ancient text book ,great devotee Prahalad had appeared in the from of Kabir in 1455 sambat (according to the Hindu calendar ) after all this it can be assured that the birth place of Kabir is Kashi itself. But saint Kabir Him self had confused the people by his poem where he wrote “पहिले दरसन मगहर पायो ,पुनि कासी बसे आई ” this mean before staying in kashi he saw the Magahar first .the place where you are born and open your eyes first time that is place you see with your first eye, there fore there is a doubt among the people about his birth place .
About Kabir’s Guru
When Kabir came to know that without Guru he can’t get the knowledge and also the supreme god , then he decided to find a Guru for himslef. in those days A very renown Guru Ramanad was popular . He went many times to his asharm and requesteed the asharm people if they could allow to meet the Guru . during that period castism , descrimnation was on its full .then one Idea came to his mind as he knew that Guru ji goes to have holy dip in to Ganges .He kept throny bushes all the alleys towards the river Ganges except one where he lied himself and when Guru Ramanand follow that path he step on him and all of sudden Ram Ram mantra chanted .Saint Kabir was happy to have physicals encounter of the Guru and also got the Guru Mantra .
When a flower was found after his Nirvana
After spending 119 years of his life Saint Kabir felt that he could not reform the bad custom of the sciety .that time there was fallacy about death if you die in Kashi you will get the heaven and if you die in Maghar (the place he was born) will be rebirth as Horse, therefore his Niravana he chose for the Maghar . Emperor of Maghar Bijali Khan and Hindu King Raja Bir singh Baghela both were the close follower of Saint Kabir and both of they wanted to perform the funeral of the saint according to their religion and tradition. When he came to know that two religion will be fighting for his death rituals. He tried to explain them an said that after my death if you find anything under the chadar just share half of the things among your self and dont fight after my Niravana. both were quiet and thinking themselves after his Mahnirvana they will perform the ritual as per their wish. Saint kabir lied down on a chaar and he used another bedsheet for covering his body and there was oracle that please take off the chadar and there is no dead body .when people saw there wasn’t any body and there was flower at the place where saint was lying .both of them shared themselves and still there is samadhi and graveyard at the same place.
When Saint Kabir Put off the fire from Varanasi !
The king of Banaras Raja Bir singh was a great follower of Saint Kabir , when Saint Kabir used to visit his kingdom the King was offering his thrown to the Saint .one time Saint Kabir wanted to trick him so he took two bottles of color water looks like liquor and arrived at the King’s kindom .this time the king did not offer his seat to the saint .He realized that King did not had idea bout his Guru so he began to drop the water from the bottle and he kept on dropping the water but it never finished then He asked the Guru ji about this then he companion said about this there has been fire in Lord Jagganth temple and he is putting off the fire later on King sent to his men to check if it was a real incident .it was true .
